"A
structure should serve a purpose,
embrace imagination,
and inspire one's spirit.
That is architecture."
- Robert Simone, Principal

The staff of Rustlewood Design are
dedicated design professionals. We specialize in both residential and commercial
buildings. Our projects include modest New England residences as well as commercial office
buildings, education facilities, and hotels.

|
|
| Using fundamental design principles in
both traditional and contemporary architecture, our Designers take the time to listen to
your needs and create buildings that clearly display your ideas in form and
function. We'll assist you in material selection and design layout.
|
| Our Service
We have an extensive portfolio of
both residential and commercial projects. Our services include
Architecture Design and Structural Engineering. We can also assist you with Civil Engineering, Site Surveys, Mechanical
Engineering, and Electrical Engineering through our recommended associates or
sub-contractors. |

The Design Process
Building design starts quite simply with a need or desire to
create a structure having a particular purpose. This purpose is called the "Design
Program." A Design Program is usually developed jointly between our Client and one of
our Designers. We have the experience and training to help you organize and decide on the
essential components and budget for your project. Whether a home renovation or
multi-million dollar office facility, The Rustlewood Company will develop a smart and
innovative design based on your particular needs and ideas. By understanding your project
up front, we'll be able to meet your schedule and budget.
|
|
Once the basic Program is
defined we'll then work with you to produce the preliminary schematics that will allow you
to see your ideas develop into the final building product. Plans, sections, elevations,
details, and material specifications are then assembled into the final construction
drawings. |
|
| We use both traditional hand drafting and CAD (Computer Aided Design) in
various stages of the project. This allows you the freedom of working with your Designer
from basic hand sketches, to the final computer plotted construction documents.
