Eric & Lisa with daughter Mackenzie
The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge is a 2-day, 200 mile charitable bicycle ride organized to help support the Jimmy Fund at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 1999, the PMC was the single largest contributor to the Jimmy Fund, donating $8.7 million.  In this, its 21st year, the goal of the PMC is to donate $12 million towards fighting this deadly disease.  Over 3,200 riders and 1,800 volunteers participate in this event with the hopes of finding a cure for cancer.

Buyer's Network promotes the fight against hunger:

The Hunger SiteThe Hunger Site provides free food donations paid by their sponsors.

Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of hunger; 3/4 of those deaths are children under five years old.  This startling number is reported by The Hunger Site: http://www.thehungersite.com

As described on the site, "The Hunger Site was founded by a private individual as an independent and nonpartisan Internet site to help alleviate hunger in the world. It enables people to learn about hunger and to make free donations of food to the hungry. It is not owned by any company or affiliated with any group or organization – political, religious, or otherwise."

Buyer's Network first learned about this web site through an e-mail from a friend of an exclusive buyer agent in the firm.  After doing some research, we made a decision to promote this worthy site.  For more information, please refer to the links below and visit http://www.thehungersite.com to make a free food donation paid by their sponsors.
